Cave Passive Pedals Grunt demo unit for forum members to try

Postby Aussie Mark on 03 Jun 2010, 11:01

A few weeks ago I sent Cole in Adelaide a demo Grunt pedal to play with, and I'm just about to give him a Grunt MkII to replace that one.

The plan with the demo Grunt pedal will be for it to do the rounds of whichever forum members are interested in having a personal trial of a Grunt pedal for a couple of weeks. The only conditions will be that you must pay the postage to send it to the next person in line, and you can only keep the pedal for 2 weeks.

Cave are offering this demo arrangement as a marketing tool so that as many interested bass players as possible can "try before they buy". Cave are pleased with the response from OzBass members so far, with several guys taking advantage of the May discount deal that was on offer, so thanks for your support!

Please reply to this thread if you are interested in being on the waiting list for the demo Grunt pedal. First in, first served.

Hi Mark,

I'm interested. Any requirements about being a gigging player for this?

No, not at all Michael. The aim is to get the Grunt into as many hands as possible so people can check it out for themselves for free.

Count me in Mark!

I'm a sucker for anything that I can put on a pedalboard. Even more so if it gets a bit dirty and for nothing - even if it is for only 2 weeks! :)

The only stores that stock them are River Music in sydney and Tym Music in Brisbane. Every pedal in the range is of course available direct via the cavepassivepedals.com.au website

I've decided I'm gonna buy one anyway, so you might as well take my name off the list, so others can get to it a bit earlier...
