BazzBass wrote:yes it goes from clean to fuzz and / or octaver to all three.

it's crazy tiny, very useable comp, the Sansamp section is as I know from BDDI and VT Bass, haven't tried the chorus or filter sections yet, but I like it.

The boost is switchable for pre / post Sansamp which will come in handy for solos etc

Gonna take it to rehearsal next week and go into the PA and not take my rig :hyper:

PS thanks to bassmaniac69 :)
Yeah cool. Thanks for the info mate, I'll have a think about it. I've actually sold all my pedals except for a TU-3 and the thumpinator - so this might be the way to go if I end up needing FX again.

Yeah cool. Thanks for the info mate, I'll have a think about it. I've actually sold all my basspedals except for a TU-3 and the thumpinator. Still got a few I use on synths/guitars but they aren't useful on bass - so this might be the way to go if I end up needing FX on bass again

Super simple board for me.

SKB PS8 powered pedal board
Sansamp BDDI
Boss TU3 Tuner
Line 6 G70 wireless
Footswitch controller for my amp head - Turns on OD, compressor, graphic EQ and a mute switch.

I also have a Boss BC-1X compressor pedal, but I've since removed it now i have my new head, all tube and the onboard compressor is enough to smooth out any errant hit.

Picked up a VT DI and borrowed my sisters tuner, lots of fun and good tones playing with the two VT's.

^ This is my first fuzz pedal so I have no reference to compare with other pedals, but I like this one. The big dial on top can go from mild, subtle fuzz to meaty sustained fuzz - nothing too harsh. There's smaller dials on either side for volume and intensity of fuzz. The box is big but I'm ok with that. The thing I like about this pedal the most is its great fun to play with - stepping on the button makes you play differently. Good, wholesome fun can be had with this one.

Here is my current board. Really happy with this set up. My needs are fairly simple. Wireless - tuner - EBS Billy Sheehan (always on mild overdrive) - EBS Multidrive (when heavier OD is needed) - MXR M85 for distorted tones - EQ - Super booster(nice DI with ground lift but I also use this as a high end filter. The VLE knob is a variable low pass filter that I use to tame\cut everything roughly above 4khz. Great for overdriven tones through FOH systems).
Still not sure where the wah belongs, but I don't use it often....Mostly in a Metallica tribute band. Using it after distortion makes the effect come through strongest and the volume boost is obvious, but seems to override the distortion saturation. Using it before maintains the distortion saturation but loses a lot of the wah effect and also soaks up the volume boost I require.

The small board. Big board hasn't been purchased yet so all still in boxes, but it's real in my head.

The ongoing journey continues. Fuzzrocious Cat Tail and Pandamidi future impact to be added. And then I'm out of ideas on what else one could possibly need.

A trained monkey to push the buttons for you on command? I saw something about mars volta once, they have/had a pedal tech who pushes all the buttons for them on side of stage.

Yeah, I saw that one too. I'm typically not one to go overboard with a heap of different effects at once. I just like to have certain sounds available, and unfortunately the ones that sound the best rarely cover a lot of other ground. The Möbius being the exception to the rule.

Some of the things i play my bass through: Ada MB1, Rane DC24 compressor / limiter / gate, Warwick Hellborg preamp (when i am not using my ADA MB1) and a Korg DTR2000 for tuning. I also have a Dunlop Bass wah (not pictured).

Gear i am interested in buying includes a LA-610 and Pearce BC1. I am still trying to locate a Wal bass and / or G&L L2000

The list of things i am wanting to buy is never ending lol :)
