It's funny you say it's in between the Whammy, TWA GD2.0 & the Hog2. I have exactly the same conundrum after owning all 3 at the same time.
So far I can't make up my mind... the GD is fantastic though.

My board is actually getting smaller....I'm thinking about swapping the Boss EQ for a 10 band but beyond that I'm happy with this set up. MXR chorus is perfect for my needs, and the M80 is for it's distortion effect only (still trying to figure if I like it before or after the EBS Billy Sheehan which is an always on OD and Comp.
I do have a Crybaby bass wah that I only use on occasion, so it doesn't live on the board.

Looks like quite the quintessential setup Jase. Do you favour one overdrive over the other (Beta or Soul Food)?

I was going to sell the Boss GT-1B until I realised that I can program it to operate like individual pedals. Instead of using the more expensive and bulky Boss extension pedal I got myself the mini dual foot switch from Loopi pedals. Now I can assign different functions to all 6 pedals. So I start with a patch with some fixed settings (compressor, para EQ) then assign different effects that I can turn on or off. For example: The first switch (original patch down) is now chorus on/off, the second switch (original patch up) is now Delay on/off and the third (Control 1) is Reverb on/off. The volume pedal still functions as normal but I can assigned the expression function (pressing down on the pedal) to activate the tuner in mute mode. The looper still functions as original. The two extra switches on the Loopi pedal are assigned patch up and down. There is the flexibility to assign different functions (even tap tempo) to each switch, either momentary or latch.

I've kept two of my individual pedals. The Drop as an octaver and as a Hipshot D tuner alternative when I play 4 string. I can set the drop to 5 and switch to momentary and I my E becomes a B until I lift my foot again. There is a subtle change in tone but used sparingly, like a D tuner on the headstock, it works well and any changes in tone would hardly be noticed in the mix at all.

The Canyon pedal is a keeper because it has a sweet shimmer and versatile tap delay. It's a fun pedal to create some pads. People think its the keyboard player.

I just recently started to use in-ear monitoring so the Hartke Bass Attack 2 is replacing my rig at the moment.Image

How would you rate the Bass Attack 2 overall man? What is the drive like in IEMs?

Much better thought out design and layout than the original Bass Attack, with three dedicated stomp switches (EQ, Shape, Overdrive). It's not as robust as the original metal housing but sturdy enough. I'm loving the IEM at the moment - I can hear everything so clearly and I've found my playing has become more confident and enjoyable. The drive works fine, easy to blend in the right amount, but I rarely use overdrive. It's more subtle than a full blown distortion.
I've mainly got this as a simple DI, with the preamp/EQ options for other bassists in the absence of FX/amp.
