Here's my latest version. Hasn't changed much but the addition of the DSM Noisemaker OCS has been a game changer. It is the only tool I've ever found that allows me to get the same sound through FOH as I do through my live rig. I've always loved my live rig tone, but DI-ing has never produced the same tone....always way to bassy and harsh sounding in the treble. The OCS fixes that, I couldn't be happier with it.
Chain is bass > Line 6 > EBS Billy Sheehan (this one is always on....I blend in a small amount of overdrive to add some harmonic content, and the compressor set at the high level is perfect. I also use the Octave very rarely in the clean channel of this pedal) > EQ (always on) > Boss ODB3 (used for distortion only, very rarely) > OCS (always on. I send the effected XLR to FOH, the unaffected 1\4 inch to live rig).
Really happy with this set up.

Haha. My bands BV's named them for a laugh.

The XXL is Barney because of the colour.
The rat is King Kunta because it's black and badass (Kendrick Lamar)
The H9 is Free Willy because they saw the Hot Knob button
The junction box is Gayle from HR because it's boring. It's a reference to a Cards Against Humanity card.

Good times. Good for a laugh during the set whenever I look down at my board. When we play smaller venues the front row seems to get a kick out of it as well. Haha

It's pretty wild man, I highly recommend it. It's like a Rat but with huge low end. Super great pedal.

Sounds rad....wild is what I want. As full on as it gets the ODB3 just isn't thick enough for me, the few YT clips of the XXL sound great.

I got sick of building small boards for each gig/band so now I just have 'em all on the one board... well the ones I use the most at least :-)

Have you tried the overdrive between the octave and envelope?

Playing around with the FX chain ...
Compressor before or after EQ?
Octaver before or after Dirt?
Custom 32

This is what addicition looks like. :p  Do the lights in your house dim when you power it up? :D

Some seriously nice choices there - but even tho you've got 3 boards - no Hog2?
Don't like it? (or too big? :ninja: )

I'm kinda keen to try out the elephant skin. Is it just a Tallfont with a dirty OD?
Whats the OD side like? Is it anything like the little pink one?

Ahhhh......this is actually what addiction looks like :help The Elephant skin is a much cleaner boost than the PPB. Just gives more body to what’s already there to my ears. The boost switch also operates independently so I also use it as my main clean boost I to my other muffs.
HOG2 is down the bottom, but between my Whammy and the TWA GD 2.0 I'm not sure I'll get the use out of it, so it's on the outgoing list at the moment.
