Funny, but also the only "interesting" thing about the amp. I'll pass.

When I read "Ashdown" and "Doom", I clicked in hoping to see a baker's dozen of KT88s. Disappointment. Only one 12AX7? :cry

Tolerances would make each unit differ enough that none would have the exact magical number ... and the front has 600 on it ! :roll no:

... and I didn't know who Geezer was until two or three years ago

... I was into Deep Purple but the dude singing on Black Sabbath put me off the band

... I heard war pigs and said this dude can't sing

Well there is something to be said about a big 3ru head with gobs of power and headroom for a clean whallop and high SPL - I have one ..... it's also 17kg, but it's 1,950 Watts compared to only 666w, AND 2 ohm capable (Carvin B1500). I'd look at an Aggie DB 751 or even a GK 2001RB long before looking at the Geezer amp.

I'd have thought doom would = 4 figures of power.

And then yes, there's the weight. Oh well...

they are hand built so they will only make it once an order comes in, apart from Geezer, I doubt they'll be cranking em out fast hehe

“Most” does, “all” not so much.

Obviously a very “niche” product, a Sabbath tribute maybe?

Michael

Nah, a Sabbath tribute would want whatever he used back in the day, not his current setup. :hellno:
