I'll start this off since I finished the last one ;)

Image

Last Friday night, no PA support (in a medium-sized bar environment) so I was able to stretch the legs of this combination a little. Did not disappoint, didn't break a sweat, room-filling presence, complete clarity and transient response even with the highs rolled off on the Z2.

Can't wait to hear Kermit through this rig, all going well that should happen some time next week.

Regards,
Michael

Rod you're incorrigible. I've seen more pictures of your rigs than of my nephew, and he's 4! But all good for a couple of reasons.
1. You're super happy with your setup so congrats!
2. I get to live vicariously through your multiple tube rigs.

Reminds me of an old friend who used to drop trou at the drop of a hat. Your rig is much nicer to look at mind.

My current rig and main bass.
All purchased from Forum members (except the bass). Seems to cover all the situations I have used it for so far.

Ha lucky this post keeps coming up - I change my gear faster than I change my mind sometimes ha ha...

This is the rig that's killing it for me right now:
Fender CIJ P Bass with EMG pups, Markbass LMT800, two Eden D210XSTs (Sometimes just one) and some pedals..
Image

I also have an LDS 15/8 Sealed cab that I sometimes pair with one of the 210s or use it by itself :-)
Oh and all the girls ;-) The Red Sandberg P is Stoneyboys. Not pictured is a Fender Marcus Miller

I was in a rehearsal studio last night for the first time in 3 months, having been in semi-retirement from gigging. I have a couple of gigs in December, including an originals/rock covers gig this Saturday night, so I thought I'd christen the RB924CS I scored from noplanb a few weeks ago. It was like being reunited with an old friend, given I bought one of these new in 1984 and gigged the snot out of it for several years, back in the days when bass players only really owned one bass at a time LOL. I'm so glad I addressed the 25 years of regret I've felt since selling that first RB924CS - such a wonderful bass for rock. So much so, that I've kept the rounds on that it came wearing, which those of you who know me even a little bit will realise is earth shattering news.

Well spotted - we scored a bunch of them for free from Universal Music. I haven't been playing in the Stones show lately (only filling in when needed) so the lads brought a copy along for me last night. The core of the Stones show make up our 4 piece original band and rock covers band too.
