I was looking forward to seeing this tonight but remembered that Ben had is school Jazz Concert on at the last minute. Hopefully it'll still be there next week, I've been keeping an eye on it through the process but it's beyond my skill level.
... dial in some "J" to angry it up!

Got gear but little talent!

Getting closer now Peter!!!!!!!.............
Interesting that you chose to spray the fingerboard too. What was the motivator behind that decision?

Few inquiries about the colour scheme .
If you have seen the other basses David has built for me- Red and Blue you would recognize I am particular about the colour and in fact all details. I wanted a completely yellow bass ( no other thinking than look)- luckily I can conceive an idea and David can realize the end product and be not scared to do it. This will have a tap switch on the pup. ( hopefully- David is just doing the check on the Pup). Ill run an external passive box with 2 or 3 caps for other tonal options. David is way ahead on this stuff and when I heard the last 5 he built with this option it is hat I wanted. Not long to go and I will do an audio of this and the blue bass soon.

As good a reason as any! Looking forward to hearing it Peter!

Some update shots of the finished bass!

It turned out really nicely with a sound as big as it looks! In the end it was decided that we would include a three-way switch to tap into the 'series/single/parallel' capabilities.

Cheers, David.
