Unicorn (4005) sighting

Post by kat888 » 06 Apr 2018, 22:58

I'm not buying or selling this (it's not a Thunderbird) but I did notice this on eBay. It's In Alexandria.

This came about because I thought I had spotted a 4005 hanging up in Pete's Musicians Market in Newtown when it was shut last weekend ... with a $795 price tag, which got me a bit animated, but of course it is a copy.

I was explainng to him indoors how rare and expensive they are, 'you'd be extremely lucky to find one for sale' ... and there's one down the road.

Surprisingly I prefer the $8000 one over the $800 copy. :)

If I had 8K down the back of the couch then I would no longer have 8K down the back of the couch.

I'm usually diametrically opposed to Rics but that is glorious. Thank God I don't have 8k or a spouse who'd approve such a purchase. :peep:

There are those who would trade their spouse for such a thing. There is no way I would trade my spouse even for a real unicorn, besides what use would I have for a Rhinocerous?

:D

I've often said... "a man has to sleep somewhere." ;)

Better to sleep next to a sympathetic woman who isn't trying to kill you, one way or another.
