The Butterfly Effect Tour.

Post by rudager » 04 Apr 2018, 10:00

Anyone else go to any of The Butterfly Effect reunion tour shows? I went to a couple. Absolutely fantastic to see them in full flight again. Glenn's bass playing and tone were awesome. It looks like he'd taken 3 basses on the road this time - his usual black American Standard Jazz in a drop C tuning, Marcus Miller V in a DADGC tuning and his old Mexican Standard Jazz in a Bb tuning for some early songs. Axe FX into Ampeg SVT classic and Avalon DI to FOH. As always, sounded great.

I didn't end up going, no. Nice gear rundown though, interesting he's running an Axe too

Yeah, I guess it makes plenty of sense, He's effectively replaced a full rolling rack of G-System, Sansamps and pedals with a single Axe FX and midi controller on the floor.
