NBD: Tobias Classic 4 bass

Post by BassLine » 07 Feb 2018, 20:55

NBD. This baby arrived this week. A mate was selling it after owning it for 20 years and it needed a good home.

Light weight at 3.9kg or 8.6lb. Sounds great, feels great, looks great.

Thanks guys!!!

Frets and bridge are green. Needs a Fret polish, a good clean/oil, new strings, setup action/intonation, Deoxit pots, new battery, and possibly a new output jack. I know what I'll be doing the next few weeks.

Thanks

I was playing it this morning, thinking how much the neck & feel of it reminds me of a Victor Wooten Fodera Yin/Yang bass, but with a little more growl to the sound. Score!
