WTB: Sennheiser HD439 headphones and/or cable

Post by BassLine » 01 Jul 2017, 12:04

I need to replace the cable on my Sennheiser HD439 headphones. Looking for someone selling their spare cable and/or headphones.

Cable. The 1.4m or 3m is fine.

It's discontinued so wanting to grab a backup pair, or at least get the current one working again.

I ordered the 3.0m cable. Yanked my head/cable too many times moving around with them. Aus site doesn't seem to stock the 3.0m only the 1.4m.

I don't use my HD439s often any more, but I don't want to part with them either.

Irony .... I think I threw my 3m cable away recently when i moved house. I would have given to you Owen, too long for me.

FWIW I couldn't find either cable one day and was able to McGuiver a solution. I found that those cheap 3.5mm cables that have the small plastic jacks can be used on these headphones. Better quality jacks tend to be slightly bigger and therefore don't fit. It didn't look cool, for home use it was fine.

Ha. I did the same thing, but not on purpose coz I couldn't work out what they were for!!

I put all my bass accessories in ziplock bags with labels into a plastic tub so no mistakes there (yet).
