Tighter Ar$e

Postby bobbybdazzler » 18 Dec 2016, 16:05

Its finally here, the Tight Ar$e mark II. the "Tighter Ar$e" preforms the same hi-pass frequency, speaker saving duty's as the original but includes a frequency knob. The knob varies the cutoff frequency from 20Hz to 81Hz and can be used too match the cut off to your cabs tuning.
The way I like to use it is to start at 20Hz and slowly increase the cutoff until it makes and audible change, what this will do is cut out all the low frequency, headroom stealing junk that is too low for your hearing anyway.
It did save my butt at our last gig. the room looked great but had an extremely vicious standing wave that would take the heads off anyone standing on the other side of the stage whenever I played a low G. It was simply fixed by increasing the cutoff frequency on the Tighter Ar$e. This kept it sounding good on my side and saved the keyboard player from attacking me with his keytar.

Heath Is currently taking orders $49.00ea + $10 p&p to anywhere in Australia.
All prices are in Australian Dollars, just in case our new friend from New Orleans is reading this.

PM Heath To order.

It doesn't quite work like that. The frequency you select is the -3dB point. It then continues to roll off all the frequencies below that point at a rate of 6dB per octave.

New list for the Tighter Arse:

Grooveinsyd
Stinky Pete
Phatbass

I won't take any money just yet, not until there are enough orders.

Please, just add your name to this thread if you wish to receive a brand new Tighter Arse - much tighter than the last Tight Arse!

Cheers
Heath

I'd like a new, improved, tighter arse, please Heath ... note I'll be out of the country from Xmas till late Jan though, so I'm hoping there won't be too much movement on this till then. Don't want to miss the boat!
