Tube Tone Compression (TTC) pedal TOUR OF DUTY THREAD

Post by Aussie Mark » 21 Oct 2014, 08:27

TTC overview:

-Simplicity... one volume knob, one compression knob.
-Should work with both passive and active pickups
-With less compression dialled in, starts boosting similar to Grunt.
-Grunt DNA, hence the "Tube Tone".

Image

As usual, the rules for the tour are -

1. Each person on the tour must pay for the pedal to be sent via Registered Post to the next person on the list.

2. Please ensure the pedal is well packed when you post it to the next person.

3. No opening up the pedal to see if there are miniature monkeys on tricycles inside.

4. Look after the pedal - it's not yours, and Heath Cave has put a great deal of thought, time and effort into designing and building the pedal.

5. You may hold onto the pedal for a week, and use it how you wish - at home, at rehearsals, or even at gigs.

6. Before the end of your week you must contact the next person on the list and find out their postal address.

7. After your turn, please provide your comments about the pedal in this thread - an audio clip or even a YouTube video would be really cool so other people can hear/see what the pedal is like when used by different people for different types of music and with different basses and rigs etc.

Quick update, guys. I've still got this one, have been a little too busy to give it a good run lately. I'll have another play with it one night this week and then it will be on it's way to the rest of you.

Sorry, unless someone here knows you personally and can vouch for you, with only 2 posts and having just joined the forum, I don't think Heath Cave would like me to take that chance.

Hi Aussie Mark,

any chance I can sneak onto the bottom of the list?

Would like to try a Cave pedal, never even seen one up close before.
