well my first gig since last century went down a treat today :)

the first gig in my life where I wasn't nervous at all, these anxiety pills work well hehe

A dog barked at us, a baby clapped along in his pram, my guitarists uber talented boys thought the rhythm section kicked ass, and they were right. Not even one bum note,I'm very proud of myself hehe.

Amp was a beat up GK 400Rb and the cab was an even more beat up Musicman 412. The BEST sound I have ever played with in my life , who woulda thought? So relieved to get this one over with without cocking up at all.

First gig without the aid of alcohol and tokes too, I've set a high standard for myself. Playing sober was really great fun,I pledged to always play straight and sober (ish)
Loud things: Markbass LittleMark 250, Hartke HA2500 amps, Hartke XL210 cabs
Pretty things: Fender MIA P, MIM P and J, SX J, Takamine ABG
Bands: Los Mescalitos , Distorted Tarts

Got a couple of local(ish) shows with my regular covers gig this month.

I've worked with Andy for several years. A good tight band with a huge repertoire.

Bayside: This Sat (4th Nov), Mordy HQ, 9:30pm

Northside: Sat 18th Nov, Miller St Bar, Epping.

Because of work I can't get to the Melb GTGs. Would be nice to meet a few of you in person, so come and say hi!

I'm hosting a Jazz jam session this Thursday night at the Gaelic Club in Surry Hills from 8pm until late.

Would love to have some bass players come down and have a play and let me grab a beer or 3 haha.
