(Bris) Stolen Peavey T-40 --> RETURNED :)

Post by Rude_Mechanical » 08 Sep 2015, 20:27

Aaron "Peege" Pickersgill has had his gorgeous Peavey T-40 stolen from his garage a few days ago. These are pretty rare in Oz, so it's safe to say that if you see one on Gumtree or in your local pawnbroker it's highly suspect.

This is more of a tobacco burst than a regular sunburst - actual bass pictured here:

If you're into black metal with an ambient twist, check out his band Hope Drone:

Happy end to the story - one of the owner's friends found an eBay listing by a second hand store, and reported it. The bass was confiscated by the police, and eventually found its way back to Peege - absolutely COVERED in the dust they use to check for fingerprints :)

Nice to hear a happy ending to a story like this. I'd be devastated if my gear got stolen. Glad it found its way home.

Yay!

It's a rare occurrence to have a successful recovery... so the owner should feel very fortunate.
