FS Aguilar DB112 all sold thanks

Post by narcdor » 29 Nov 2017, 20:25

Hey guys,

Looking to cut down to two amps and two cabs

These are exceptionally nice sounding cabs, powerful clear and articulate and have a slightly vintage vibe baked but I wouldn't call them dark especially, they can get plenty bright with the tweeters that give air and presence but don't get harsh except at extreme settings.

With my Mesa Walkabout and TecAmp Puma (Puma is also for sale) they sound rich and full as a single cab solution. They just don't seem to fully translate my tube amp in all it's glory as a single cab solution so for that minor flaw they are my least used cabs.

Asking what I paid a few months back for top shelf cabs with manufacturers covers included @ $1000 pickup from Brunswick East for the pair. Not willing to separate just yet.
UPDATE: I can split now, $500 each, but thinking of keeping the tweed so only the choc available individually.
UPDATE: Choc is sold, only tweed available now for $500.
UPDATE: Both sold now thanks for the memories.
Original sale thread here viewtopic.php?f=29&t=23054

Tweed is in quite nice condition with a very small scratch on the top front near edge, a small mark on the front bottom lip, a scratch on the bottom and a dirty mark on the top right corner shown in photos below.

Chocolate Thunder is in nice condition too with a couple more marks on the bottom shown in photos below and a couple very tiny nicks on the top not in photos.

Downsizing unfortunately, unless it’s something I’m after which would cause me to sell something else instead...
