FS/FT Fender Bassman Neo 115 - on hold

Post by narcdor » 05 Dec 2017, 08:01

Quite good condition, couple of small marks, downsizing to one all tube amp and cab and they match, so this is out the door despite actually sounding a little better than a sealed 15 and definitely more flexible, does every amp I've tried it with much justice.

I’ll get some photos up soon but you probably already know what it looks like from the 600 rig shots Rod/Mark have thrown up here. They can tell you how good it sounds, I think it’s the best single 15 I’ve ever heard and one of the most portable too.

It’s missing one castor which I’ve tracked down can be replaced at Bass Centre for $20, I’ve just not been down to South Melbourne to pick it up yet, if you want to do this part I’ll knock $20 off for you. But, you may want to put that $20 to some tougher casters as a few others have done with great success.

Asking $700 pickup only in Melbourne. Trade for a Noble Pre! Or an Aguilar SL112, or other super compact vintage style super light trammable cab (< 15kg). Or a super light trammable head (< 2kg) that does a decent vintage sound.

8 ohms, I don't think they come in any other config.

Also I forgot to mention this is one of the lighter early run models, so it's surprisingly light. I forgot the exact weight but I can check when I get home.

Ah, cheers.

Thank you for the info. I'm looking for a 4ohm cab. Don't need two. My Bassman only has 4 ohm speaker out.

Last bump before I list it elsewhere, probably on commission, likely for more than here.

Ok so I’ve been busy, but I might have time this weekend to take this down to put on commission. Updated trade options.
