SOLD: 2001 Warwick Streamer Stage 2

Post by reens » 24 Feb 2018, 14:52

Sold to the man from Ballarat. Thanks all.

All the pix are here.

$2200

Made in Germany. One of the best build qualities I've seen on a bass. Afzelia body, 7-piece ovangkol/afzelia neck, wenge fingerboard. Go nuts on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... er+stage+2

The neck profile is lean & compact and more like a guitar - not the fat/wide Warwick style.

The sound: deep/dark lows, midrange growl, but also a slap monster. It has a unique clarity.

Controls: treble mid bass, volume|blend|pass/active. Big range of sounds.

MECs.

Hipshot D tuner.

Fresh slinkys.

Some very light buckle rash on the back, otherwise in excellent condition. Natural finish. (It's hard to photographs the colour accurately.)

Comes with basic hardcase, Warwick truss rod kit.

A real pro instrument (one of the best by Warwick IMO). I'm sad to let her go, but I'm planning to downgrade to the other end of the spectrum (hollowbody).

I'm very reluctant to ship it (bad experience with basses in the past (not this bass)), but if you’re serious you can come try it out (DM me). Located in Kensington Sydney. I don't have an amp but do have a Line6 pod to play through.

Price is firm. Bass is solid.

cheers rino

Thanks for the comments...
Also note: I've had to replace one of the tuners (D) - but used a genuine WW part.
Here's a pic of the bass in the case - it's a basic JustInCase case but pretty sturdy.
