FS/FT Fender 60th ann MIM Precision Bass Trade for 5 string Jazz or Fender Mustang

Post by Rocksolid » 23 Feb 2018, 12:49

Had this for 2-3 years, and this is another casualty of trying to buy something else. When I purchased, it had the original bridge but was missing a screw, so I replaced the bridge with a Gotoh. Currently strung with flats/chromes.

**Original Bridge with replacement screw now reinstalled**

In great condition, I'll go over it again and look for marks though. My first and only MIM, and I was impressed with it.

Blizzard pearl is the colour, Can look a bit like shoreline gold in some light. Vintage tint on the neck.

Comes with average condition gig bag. **Will now include Gator hard case**

Not really sure where to price this. Let's go with $700.

Yes, 2006. The bottom line of stamping on the neck plate says 1946 - 2006. Just did a bit of googling, and the 60th anni basses were only made in 2006. The MIA were in blonde only, and MIM were in Blizzard Pearl only.

Had a look over the bass today, there are a couple of little marks on the head stock, and body. I would call them general wear and tear, but everyone is different. I'll try get some pictures later, when I'm not doing my first effort at 6hr Pulled Pork!

I had a go of this bass on my recent visit, it’s very, very nice. If I hadn’t just picked up a P Bass I don’t think I could have resisted. Someone should buy this it’s a great instrument.
