FS/T: Musicman Bongo 4 HH Candy Apple Red - $1,700 ONO

Post by kodou » 02 Feb 2018, 07:10

So I have very recently come into possession of a Musicman Bongo 4 HH and whilst it is awesome in every way I really only play 5 strings so am not sure where it will fit in for me.

So if anybody has a Bongo 5 that they find themselves using the 5th string solely as a thumb rest and want the simplicity of a 4, let me know :D

It's a 2011 Cherry Red Rosewood Bongo 4 HH. Serial number confirmed with Ernie Ball.

Absolutely immaculate condition, seriously it looks as new.

Looking for $1,800 ONO. If you buy it for $1,700 I'll even chuck in the shipping with Pack n Send.

Another pic however the HDR kicked in and made it so it looks black at the bottom. It is Cherry Red all over.

In fact, looking at the serial, this is literally the exact same bass :D

For a straight sale I'd probably have to be looking for a hundred or so beneath the cost of a 5.

So $1,800.

Final bump before I withdraw. Price drop to $1,700 with or without shipping (may be flexible for local pickup).

I'm starting to enjoy having a 4 string but would still prefer a 5 so I can use it for everything.

Am I right in assuming it comes with a hard case? And could you tell us how much it weighs?

Yep it has a musicman hardcase and it weighs between 3.75 and 4kg. My bathroom scales are right dodgy that's the best I can estimate.
