FS Squire CV P bass Fiesta Red Sold $450

Post by absolutlytonedeaf » 03 Oct 2017, 19:01

purchased this from Stinky Pete
original thread http://ozbassforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=21023
lots of upgrades and I had a SD quarter ponder pickup installed so it really has some bight now.
would prefer to ship with the neck off which saves on cost and can be better protected during shipping.

disclaimer; this bass headstock has a Sandberg Decal on it which will be removed,
I have never and will never sell this bass as a Sandberg, purely put on here for a bit of fun

cheers

Hi, I'm on the (idle) lookout for a P -

Does it still come with all the factory bits ala StinkyPete's thread?

Do you still have the DiMarzio P?

Reason for sale?

The rundown on this bass, this is a revised description of the current bass ,
- Hipshot tuners (MM Stingray) by a previous owner.
- Tort Pickguard by a previous owner.
- Vintage bridge by previous owner.
- The headstock logo was removed by the previous owner and covered with a similar coloured contact as there were apparently some scratches/gouges from removal of the logo.

.
- Dimarzio 250k pots with 47uf cap installed by Pete.
- thumb rest installed by Pete.
- 3.9kg on the bathroom scales, perfectly balanced and feels so light.

- Frets are perfect and truss works as it should.

Dimarzio pickups are not available.

I know it mate, but I still need to pay shipping to Adelaide (neck off).

If no other mate take it, please think about my offer (no offence intended).

Cheers
