Yeah! I'm getting a new set once I get my Haussel set :) Really, really happy with these strings Jon. Good on you bringing them to Australia. It's only $10 cheaper from if I buy from USA and I think it's always good to support local business :)

I was at the Melbourne GTG and want to try some of these strings.
I like the gauge strings that I need to replace, Only problem is I have no idea what gauge they are, or brand, they where on the bass when I got it.

Anyone know a way to measure string gauge?

Gee Wiz. Could do guess but without measuring it would be tough.

Once you find out let me know. Can help you out. Will say the 5 string FATPACK is the most popular.

A vernier calliper will do it simplest with accuracy. You can get plastic ones at the dreaded Bunnings. Alternatively there are gauging tools but they are a little harder to come by and only serious engineering tool shops will have them.
