You're all wrong about the GTG!

Hi Guys

Have got to tell you that the highlight on the 21st was not what you guys have all been going on about! The absolute bestest (made up word) thing at the Sydney GTG was the Mailloux Five String Bass that I got for a steal!

BassHack, you should have bought this thing when you had the chance! I'm no five string expert (in fact, I'm no expert at nuffin') but Phil... thank you very much for letting me take that beast home! If there's a "Jazz Play Off" at the up and coming GTG, no competition!

One thing Phil, once we've added those little secret circuits, please don't hurt me! She'll look a little different... just a little...

Anyway, thanks again Phil and it's a shame you can't take twelve months off from your engineering job instead and keep making these great Aussie monsters!

Yep you're right but the stars weren't aligned and I really did have to wait for the Streamer funds to come in. I'm so glad you're enjoying it. I'll get my build in the cue after Phil builds some gear for himself.

Was there much slapping going down at the GTG, or were people spooked by "that other thread" on the topic?

^ I think all styles were played, not too long, and at normal volumes. Everyone was very considerate.
