It's coming along and will get to me when he's happy with it. We both want it to be something that we are both proud of so it takes a little more time to do right.

Phil knows I'm not pressuring him

I only pipe up once a month out of curiosity.

I know very well that he is busy and that building is only fit in these days as time and drive permit. I also know that this will not in any way detract from quality of product, because the man is crazy finicky...

All good things take time. I didn't get to see the result of the paint going off originally but I'd bet it there wasn't much to see. Pretty sure he knows we're just having fun.

Don't need an update Phil, it'll happen when it does, but photos of #28 would be good.

You're too kind Blaine

I've always liked the block inlays that Phil makes, and they look great on the Lake Placid P bass too

Allrighty, here's pics of the sunburst, first of, a few pics of the amber sprayed on the body
ImageImageImage

These three pics were taken with the flash inside the workshop, so they look a lot more yellow than amber, this pic below shoes the first band of darker colour being applied outside, the amber looks more natural on that pic
Image

and then pics of the rest of the Tobacco Sunburst when applied ImageImageImageImageImage
