Is anybody home at BassPeople?

Post by rudager » 16 May 2014, 14:26

Hey guys, placed an order from the webstore a week ago and have since heard nothing, even though it has been processed through my bank.

Does anyone have any idea what's happening?

Cheers.

Not sure if you can order new stuff from their webstore, I think their just selling off what they have left. Joel, who is still answering emails for them, is out of town for a few days. You should get an email when he's back in Oz.

Cool, thanks for the info. I ordered a Nordy pickup that was on the updated stock list, so hopefully it's all good.

Very frustrated with this now. Still no word. I decided to do the right thing and buy from Aussie retailers this time (instead of ordering from Nordstrand direct) so I bought 1 NJ4 (bridge) from Dominant and the neck P/U from BassPeople. The bridge pickup arrived from Dominant almost immediately, and it's useless installing that one until the other arrives. Further to that the very pickup that I've ordered and paid for is still listed as available on ebay and has been for 10 days since my purchase. I don't want to seem like a whingy consumer and I still want to help the forum members out, but should I cancel this and get my money returned?

Joel is still alive and well and periodically is updating the remaining inventory here...

Is anybody home at BassPeople?

Hey all, sorry I missed this and thanks to Matt for the heads up. I'm overseas at the moment but I have Pmd the OP to let him know what's going on and offered a little something to make up for his inconvenience.

Rest assured once I'm back on deck ( Wednesday) things will be business as usual. Contact me through here or my FB if anyone has questions until mid this week.
