YAY. FINALLY.

OZBASSFORUM - SYDNEY GTG - 18 SEPTEMBER 2010

VENUE: EVERY NATION CHURCH - KOGARAH OFFICE (the venue is not an actual church)

45 Princess Hwy, Kogarah, NSW, 2217

DRESS CODE: as long as you're not naked

BRING BASSES, AMPS AND PEDALS IF POSSIBLE. :bat:

I'm not responsible with the fact that you might be infected with disease such as GAS

People who are attending:

Terry
Mark
Pete
Matt
Nigel :bat:
Cam
Chris
Pete
MG
Daniel
Phil
Stephen

Regarding food I'm not able to get discount anymore ; and yet we're to decide whether you guys gonna come on time or not, and how long you guys can stay for. If it's just a short one then I won't go into the hassle of preparing food (and possibly BBQ); but if you guys want to stay for abit longer then lunch seems to be reasonable to me.

Cool. If yes, I can try to organize something.. There's a hall near where I live. They usually use it for music stuff so I guess it's got good acoustic. Trying to get around 15 people.

I'm in on one condition - someone else does all the organising this time..... oh and a second condition that we wait for Nigel's Mailoux to be finished.

There should quite a bit of new gear at this one that wasn't at the last one. I'll bring my composite 1x12 an it's wooden twin brother. Only problem is having finished my A/B comparisons, I went and added a second tweet to the wooden cab but not to the fibergalass cab, so they sound quite different to each other now. Do I need to somehow bring them back into sync? I'll only bother if people are interested in doing some A/B comparisons on the day..........
2 very different Stingray 5's (one ceramic one alnico), MTD Heir 5 with Nordy NJ5S neck pickup, Acoustic Image Focus 1 amp , Sennheiser IEM, Lots of DIY neo/lightweight cabs including one made from fiberglass, lots of others stuff.

If you plan it for Sept - I am planning on being up there the weekend of the 10-12th as my gf is performing at the Sydney Fringe.

So I could come and drool over all your basses - unfortunately though, I wouldn't be able to bring any with me.
