No Nick its not that one, and t's fully functional mate is below the pool table. I did see the neck at MSoGM the other week and recognized it pretty quickly.

I did find my first mod job bass when I pulled the house apart. A 5 string Vester Maniac I defretted way back. I'll have to take it down to the shop and do it properly at some point.

I'm glad it's not just me!!

I lent a Rickenbacker to someone in Nth Queensland about 30+ years ago, & promptly forgot about it! By the time I remembered where it was, I couldn't remember who I lent it to!!

I lent someone a Frank Zappa music book once. After wondering when it was coming back I went to his house and found all pictures ripped out of it hanging off the walls and fridge.

I don't mind if I lend someone a novel and it doesn't come back (karma) but that's my limit.

Yeah no we haven't. No real need as if you've got my bass you'll know you've got it. I don't anything that is "common" and could get confused with another one like it. The thread is here to prompt the guy who has the bass to contact me and put my mind at ease. I really think that that is all there is to finding it.

I did check the Ebay sales history of my wife though....
