Not sure if I really want to make a mountain out of something that may be a molehill but something feels wrong about a Gumtree ad for a '77 Fender Jazz. The neck joint to the body looks like a mismatched pair & the lack of description doesn't help (not to mention the sexy zebra pickguard)?

The gap between the neck and body in one of the pics is nothing extraordinary for a late 70s Fender. Not saying it all checks out- can't tell everything from the pics.

^I would also ask about what it weighs, if heavy basses are a concern and you are interested. An ash 77 Jazz could be heavy.

Looks like a molehill. I think this checks out. I just get passionate & nothing gets my back up more than somebody who tries to pass off a non genuine item for a lot of money as being genuine.
