our third ever show late last year. All originals
Nice smooth, kind of music - thanks for sharing.
Really clean recording for live - was it taken directly from the desk?

Next 2 sets were indoors (after an equally lovely dinner) &, as it was STRAIGHT after work.. and I hadda leave work early as traffic I KNEW was gonna be a pita..... I took my lightest but still great sounding rig..
Rumble 500C and Fender AVRI62P with (I think.. or thought) Fender flats on... but looking at the pic... they might be Chromes... note to self... check em out!

And just for the halibut.
The view from just 'ashore' from the punt.. :notworthy:

We had a gig shortly before Christmas at the Home Tavern in Wagga. The day after we were also the house band for the Bidgee Blues Club jam. Here are a few shots from the jam. In the second of them you can see the lifting paint near the bridge of my StingRay. Not sure what to do (if anything) about that.

thanks mate, really appreciate your kind words :)

yeah taken straight off the desk, they gave us the stems and we remixed it

it was a gig i didn't want to do. A battle of the bands, the stage is set up behind a music shop. Hardly anyone attended, BUT I tried out my Zoom H2N vid recorder, and they gave us the stems to remix, and bada bing bada boom we had some clips to put on our FaceBook page to point venue bookers to. We got 4 gigs from the first 4 emails I sent out due to the clips from this show we didn't wanna do hehe.

Oh my ! that is so classy, great playing by all.
Except, you may have left out one or two "I know I knows"

love the drums on the flatbed, is that so you can drive him away if he misses a beat?

Last night's gig at the Gov, in the Gumbo Room with Los Mescalitos

such a humid night,we sweated so much we didn't need to use the loo all night even though we drank lots of beer and water :) :drinkingbuddies:

We play all originals, an American couple kept yelling out covers. So after every song Phil called it a John Fogarty cover rotfl, they were cheering louder each time he said that. :rolf:

I was a brave boy, used my MIA P instead of my MIM Jazz, why have it and not use it? it sounded, well, like a good P does :)

Played a show @ Enigma Bar last night, Support slot for sydney band "Wraith", on the last leg of their national tour.

My first show in 18 months or so, was a blast. 150-odd through the doors, plus the other 4 bands and crew etc, was a great night.

The a/c overhead vents on my side of the stage weren't working, so one of the hottest show's ive played. The cable for my wireless pack also decided to fail during soundcheck, so I was using a borrowed cable that was way too short πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Another couple of bigger shows booked over the next couple of months, and are heading on tour mid-late november.

Guitarist finished of all his guitar tracking late this afternoon, so vocals begin this week, and ill head in to do bass and backing vocals in the second week of april.

nice one, man just 5 bands and crew pretty much half fill the Enigma Bar, 150 is amazing. Yeah I was stage left too when we played there, no air con , it was only when I walked past the middle of the stage that I got a blast of cold air to resussitate me lol

Yeah was super surprised when I found out. It really didn’t look that many. The bands we played with have a pretty big following here and interstate, and the show was heavily promoted. It was also only $5 entry.

Last time I played there the vents were working all along the stage. Last night my basses, strap and my clothes were all pretty soaked by the time we finishedπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

But that’s half the fun. πŸ˜‰

We’re back there on June 23rd, supporting The Ascended, from Victoria. Keen to say the least.
