Interview on Saltmine Repairs

Post by maxgroover » 07 Dec 2017, 11:26

Just read this cool article about Matt Bulluss and his business Saltmine Repairs:

He does all my mods/setups and I can't speak highly enough of him. His passion for his workspace is nearly as great as his passion for guitars and basses!

Great interview. I'm fortunate enough to have worked with Matt at Bass People, so I've literally had the opportunity to spend many hours picking his brain. He really knows his stuff! And his workmanship is brilliant. As good as this interview is, it really only scratches the surface.

A few years ago Matt generously sent me a couple of o ring washers for a machine head on a cheap Yamaha bass. There was nothing in it for him as I am interstate - it was just a considerate thing to do that I really appreciate and have not forgotten.

Goes to show that it's sometimes the smallest things that people do that have the biggest impact. A timely reminder for all of us.
