Re: NAMM visit and Holiday Leave

a well deserved break George, have a good time....ALL the time.

Seeing as you give us all SO much GAS with your posts of new gear, I feel it only fair that you take lots of pics and post them on here for us :)

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

I don't like the 'umpire's call' system. If the ball was gonna hit the stumps it's out, regardless of whether the umpire gave it out or not. What a stupid logic.

Re: Shim in the pocket

Also be aware that Mexican fenders are budget instruments and as such they probably don't have glue under the frets. So before smashing those fret tops with your fav file, I'd definitely check for loose ones man... I wouldn't call thousand dollar instruments "budget" but I will check for this, than...

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

only saw the game in bits whilst watching a Led Zepp cover band, but really, who cares about these games, totally meaningless. So what if England beat us 5-0, they still don't get the ashes lol. This format has lost any relevance it may once have had. On another note, this Zepp band were good, lady s...

Shim in the pocket

my MIM Jazz appears to have a slight ramp at the end of the fretboard, I like a really low action.Sometimes notes on frets above the 15th fret don't ring out as much as they do elsewhere. It was worse before, I raised the saddles a bit and added a bit more relief and that fixed it mostly, just latel...

Re: FS: Ampeg SCR DI

someone grab this. I like mine more than the B7k, BDDI, VT, MXR M80 and whatever other preamp DI I've bought. I have literally lost count :)

Ampeg in a pedal is not a false claim imho

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

So apparently, If Scorchers get a home final, they're not allowed more than 40k in a 60k stadium, due to public transport to the venue during peak hour unlikely to cope well? WTF? Isn't that just snowflake politics? Surely people sort themselves out? I reckon it's just spin to excuse the poor crowd...

Re: Who is obsessive about their coffee??

of course, it's more complicated in Melbourne.

You need to take a beaker, for the hot water, another beaker for the hot milk, a small cup for the espresso shot,a mug to mix them in, and a board to place all the beakers on.
