Re: BSS SUMO

Where was this a few years ago when I was putting together a pedal board that included the amp? Sure there are plenty of lunchbox heads that would do the trick, but the shape of this amp would have worked better.

Re: Sterling Ray 34 help needed

Good result. That poor bass has been abused, so you might have to be extra nice to it to make up for it's rough early life. Is there a musical instrument version of the RSPCA?

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

Eng leading 2-0 in the ODI series. Who'd've thunk it? Their batting looks very good, and who the hell is this spinner they've bought it (Rashid)? He's great, much better than Moeen Ally. I didn't get to see Alex Carey bat, but it sounds like he went well. I liked the look of him behind the stumps. I...

haha good story Pete ! I just tuned in, what happened to Paine? Injured or just on the keeper merry go round?
On a merry-go-round, but not the one you're thinking of. He's got that gastro bug that all the players seem to be getting.

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

At my last job in Sydney, I used to deal with a Financial Planning office in SA where I regularly swapped emails and phone calls with a young bloke who was playing 1st grade cricket and AFL. He was trying to break into the state cricket team, and from memory was also on the verge of signing with the...

Alex Carey 100 in 54 balls for Adelaide Strikers tonight, with 22 runs in one over. Great to watch.
Hmm, T20 hey? Well at least they've stopped picking players for the test team based on their BBL form .......

Re: Rant Thread !

I've disabled the fingerprint scan on my phone, as I find a 4 digit passcode quick enough. Pete, back on the previous topic (CPAP) - how do those masks go if you are a restless sleeper? I can't even stand wearing PJs to bed because I'd wake up feeling like I'm wearing a straightjacket, so I'm curio...

Re: Rant Thread !

So much serious ranting going on, here's a little "lite entertainment". I really have come to appreciate use g my phone instead of my card to "wave pay" - only I can use it (finger print authentication - credit card can be waved by anyone up to $100), and I don't need my wallet. After sanding a fai...

Re: Who is obsessive about their coffee??

Egad! Walk?? Whassat? I have the reusable cup in my car... I stop at my fave coffee shop and Bob's me uncle ... what's this walk around thing? Well it's nice to see your effort to be more environmentally friendly revolves around the burning of fossil fuels! Reminds me of the time our Labrador was i...

Re: Rant Thread !

To adjust the pressure they decided to hide it so us mortals can’t do it,but us bass players are not normal,it’s just a matter of pushing a couple of buttons in sequence ,well it was on my Resmed. I went menu-diving on my Phillips machine today and you're right, the menu I need to adjust the pressu...

Re: Who is obsessive about their coffee??

.... but I'm struggling to find places that offer discount for using it ... and I like a good coffee so... I'll still go to the places that make good hot coffee over a crud place that offers a discount. hmmm, the discount thing doesn't fly. I sell coffee at my Ice Cream Shop, and the cups I use cos...

Re: Sterling Ray 34 help needed

A bad solder joint will do it. There could also be some shorting going on with that exposed wire not being insulated properly. I'd do it myself. All you have to do is apply some heat to the joint until the existing solder melts. As it does so, it'll invade any gaps and correct any iffy connection. T...

Re: Rant Thread !

My understanding is Resmed is a pretty standard model,I personally like the mask that only covers the nose, very small,no harder to set up than a programmable digital effects :banghead: a few of the settings are hidden but YouTube sorts that out quickly enough, you could be up and running by evening ...
