Re: Visiting Warwick and Sandberg Factories - Questions?

I have a question. I'm curious abut the design process for the Sandberg California VM series. Having decided to make it a P/MM pickup configuration, I would have thought they would position the MM pickup in the Stingray sweet spot. Instead they put it closer to the bridge akin to a Jazz bass pickup ...

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

OK you know what's really pissing me off today? All the references to Shaun Marsh being a "Veteran" and "adding experience to the squad". Fair suck of the sauce bottle!

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

David Warner, Cameron Bancroft, Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith (c), Peter Handscomb, Shaun Marsh, Tim Paine, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood, Jackson Bird, Chadd Sayers. How many "last chances" is that for Shaun Marsh now? 6, maybe more? C'mon seriously, he must have some dirt o...

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

Well there was only one Shield game finished by day 3. NSW made short work of QLD so they are the best team in the comp :)

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

I'll tell ya who I do like as an opening batsman - Jake Weatherald from SA. He'd be right up there in the runs tally. I've been watching him over the last couple of games and I think he's got a lot of potential. He's got a good technique, and most importantly a good temperament. He seems to be able ...

Oh come on! The day the conscience arguments stack up is the day fast food outlets start refusing to serve obese customers, the day lawyers start refusing to represent people who appear guilty, the day beauticians start refusing to serve ugly people.

Re: Bathurst - the good, the bad and they ugly

I was in a band that make the trek to Bathurst from Sydney twice a year to play at the Uni. They were great gigs. In the early years we would hit the town afterwards looking for some sort of live entertainment. It was pretty much pub-rock cover bands with great names like "Soggy Mattress" and "Scree...

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

As keeper or at #6? A well connected little birdy told me on the weekend that Jake Lehmann will be the #6 Well listening to selector Mark Waugh radio yesterday, it sounds like they've decided Renshaw will open despite his current form because, and I quote "It doesn't take much for a guy like him to...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

So can someone please explain the "religious freedom" aspect of this to me? I'm sure I'm missing something obvious but as of right now, I don't see the link. Is is about the right of gays to belong to a religion, or is it about the religions being able to continue to preach that homosexuality is bad?

NEW RANT! On Sunday one of the fans said "You have the easy job. You just keep doing the same thing whilst the guitarist does all the work". Im not in jail for murder in case you're wondering.... I just laughed it off but man it bugs me! It's almost as bad as being told how lucky I am that I can pl...

Re: What to do when the supplied backline is a bit... meh...

Well Im gonna go for a cheap fix and grab a 10 band EQ pedal. Well the cheap fix is in this case the best one IMO! It's exactly what I did when I was in a corporate band that played all sorts of gigs through all sorts of supplied backlines. 1. With the amps knobs set flat, use the EQ pedal to get y...

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

...and Bancroft has made 161 not out (SR 58) on day one VS SA. If he hasn't just scored himself a baggy green I'm not sure what else he could possibly do. Well I tuned in to watch him in action this morning. He looked a little subdued at first but he's just taken to Travis Head and has bought up hi...
