Re: FS FT Genz Benz NEOX 212T 600 Watts 4ohm Cab

Great cabs these. I use it on 90% of my gigs. I don't use the wheels on mine, a Bunnings folding trolley moves it around nice and easily

The handles are well located for getting it in and out of the boot of the car too.

GLWTS.

Re: Jazzy blues turnarounds

Guaranteed to melt your guitarists face off: In F min: | F- | Bb-7 | F- | F7 | | Bb-7 | Bb-7 | F-7 | Ab | | G-7 | C7 | F-7 D-7 | DbMaj7 GbMaj7 | Also the intro is fun to learn on bass. Basically, instead of ending with a 1 / 6 / 2 / 5 turnaround it goes: 1 / 6 / flat-6 / flat-2. 8/ That's a good so...

OK, project "Reject Rescue" in full swing.

Big hole:
Put three pickups in there! You get kind of a ramp and more tonal possibilities all in one :D

Re: Advice on Qantas Frequent Flyer points...

How easy/hard it is to book flights depends on when you are travelling. School holidays are generally a no go. In Australia's winter Australians tend to travel to the European summer and likewise in European winter Europeans tend to travel to Australia so seats will be limited then. It also depends ...

Re: FIFA World Cup 2018

I thought Leckie was outstanding, then Aziani came on and WOW, what a player. Those were the two standout Aussies for me. On the Danish side, the whole back field was excellent, as was their keeper, but Sisto ..... he's something else isn't he! Awesome talent, you can't relax when he's anywhere nea...

Re: Mesh wifi setups - anyone using one at home?

I recently got the TP Link Deco 5 setup: https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/tp-link-deco-m5-whole-home-mesh-wifi-3-pack-system-tpdecom5 Easy to set up and I'm getting 29Mbps download speed anywhere in the house and in the back yard too. Parental controls are handy too. You set up memb...

Re: FIFA World Cup 2018

I only started watching last night. Happy that Japan won only because Colombia really seemed to be hamming it up at any opportunity to extract a free kick. That's what it looked like to me anyway, maybe that's just part of the game and they all do it  Totally agree. I don't think the free ki...

Re: Talk to me about Double Bass

That reminds of a conversation between Miles and Coltrane:

Miles: "Why do you play so many notes?"

Coltrane: "I don't know how to stop."

Miles: "Just take the horn out of your mouth."

Re: Genz STL900 vs Magellan 800

I don't own a Magellan but do own a Streamliner 900. From what I've recently read, the eq acts quite differently to your typical class D head and is quite interactive i.e a change to the bass level may also impact mids. Also, if you have the gain low and the pre-vol high this will get a cleaner more...
