In 50 years time they will still be playing Beatles music. No one will remember Quincy. TV themes and Grammy awards mean nothing.
And what about Michael Jackson's early music; most of which was produced by Quincy?

Re: Fender Jazz pickup cover over the bridge??

You could just use the bridge cover with foam slipped in, or just slip the foam between strings and body which should have exactly the same effect. You could push foam in and out of the bridge cover - just not sure how easy that is in practice. The thinking with using the pickup cover is that it wi...

Re: Clean Bass Preamp recommendations

Have you checked out the Zoom B3 as a Preamp threads on TB?

If not, PM me your email address and I'll send you a PDF summary of the salient parts of that thread.

I was finding similar issues to you with the B3 until I applied the changes from the TB thread. Now I use it every gig

A bit of spray booth action last night at the Melbourne School of Guitar Making. Big thanks to David for his absolutely stunning work with the spray gun: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbRqSOdFclg&feature=youtu.be https://i.imgur.com/Tn27aevl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/KKVO2NDl.jpg Oh wow!!!
