Re: WTB Markbass TTE rack ears and case

The case I found when I owned a TTE was a semi-hard/soft case designed to protect effects lighting or fog machines - I just measured the TTE and then searched for something suitable on eBay. Nice and light and great protection.

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

Ok I just bought a 365 day pass for online streaming from Cricket Australia. $29.99 for pretty much every game played in Australia for 1 year, including tests, ODIs, T20s, all domestic games, big bash. As I type, I'm watching VIC Vs SA in an ODI. Not Bad!!! Will the app let you cast the stream to a...

Re: Health Goals for 2017

OK. We're 80% of the way thru 2017.... How's everyone tracking with their Health & Fitness goals? As previously reported, all signs at the moment are that my thyroid cancer has been nuked. But I've put on a few kgs of fat, so need to get back into a solid fitness regime. I've made an initial start ...

She reckons I won't get any work done if there's a tv showing sports.
I've done a few gigs where I managed to watch the footy while playing a set, so I'm sure you can wield the scoop easily enough while the telly is on

Gear: Genzler rig (Magellan head, 2 BA12-3 cabs); my brand-new pedal board (never thought I'd go that way) with a Boss MS-3 and a couple of other things. I'm having no luck whatsoever convincing the wife that we need a TV in our shop.
Immediate small business tax deduction. TV in the shop with Fox Sports on would bring a flood of customers in I reckon

FWIW, Chris Rogers opened the batting for Australia, and he is colour blind.
Yes, and Garry Ballance for England. Both struggled with the pink ball the most from what I've read.

wow playing cricket with red green colour blindness must present him with a challenge He's been playing cricket for 4 years now, and only realised last year that the ball is RED! We were talking one day and I said "I'm amazed at how good you are in the field given how hard it must be to see red bal...

Top photo ! Middled it perfectly.
He's red/green colour blind, so I think he really liked batting against a white ball that week

Cricket 2017/2018

Time for a new thread! Does anyone else have Ashes tickets? I'm going to day one of the Sydney test, which has been an indulgence for a few years now. And to kick off this thread, here's a proud father moment - my son played in the Kookaburra Cup U12 tournament in Canberra during the recent school h...
