Re: WTB *Gibson* Thunderbird Black (just not quite yet)

I've got Thunderbuckers in my Cataldo JAEbird - they're great pickups (and would want to be for the price). I've owned several Greco birds and changing the fabulous stock pickups have never entered my mind even slightly.

Re: WTB *Gibson* Thunderbird Black (just not quite yet)

The Grecos have hotter pickups - and the single pickup in the sweet spot is a rock monster.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2018

I bet Caltex are very happy with their investment so far. Good thing Timmy isn't getting paid based on game time.

Re: Mesh wifi setups - anyone using one at home?

I'm still very happy with the Velop. The only times it's been down since January has been twice for a few minutes at a time when it automatically downloads firmware updates for each node. One quirk I discovered is that devices on the mesh network can't see our wireless printer unless the Velop is in...

Re: FIFA World Cup 2018

The diving is appalling. Why can't these multi million dollar players just play the game and not worry about the theatrics. Ruins what could be a decent sport if done right. Maybe making the goals bigger would help, or cut it back to 9 players per side?

Seller is truly a knob, or getting kicks from toying with enquiries. My exchange with him ... "Hi Mark. Your questions at least display genuine interest. However, neck profile is a specific term relating to curvature more than nut width. Both of which are standard spec. And readily available online....
