Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

We weren't planning on watching it either - didn't even know he was going to be on, given we hardly ever watch 60 Minutes. Just happened to be channel surfing after watching Hawke. Typical lightweight stuff Liz Hayes does these days.

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

Bizarre puff piece on Malcolm last night on 60 Minutes. It was all about what a happy couple he and Lucy are. The subtext was "I'm happily married so I don't need to chase other women like Bill Shorten or bonk my staff like Barnaby does"

Turn knobs until it sounds good. Note position of knobs. Adjust from there.

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

Pollies are merely a subset of broader society, no matter which party they're members of - dual citizens and adulterers are everywhere That is true. It would appear Barnaby is/ was in both subsets from the MEDIA reports. Labor has not pursued him about his personal life., even though I understand t...

nothing against cover bands, but why the hate on original bands?
Being Adelaide, the hate is probably because you didn't go to the right school. It's the only place in Australia where anyone bothers to ask that question within the first 2 minutes of being introduced.

whats the gain sensitivity like and would you rate the tone as tubey? i also had a TTE500 and that was the best sounding hybrid i have ever heard.
The modules in that configuration are basically a Little Mark, so a great warmish sounding tone, but not "tubey" in the way that the TTE500 is.

Re: FT Stingray 4H White

I owned a Stingray at one point in time that had the 3 band preamp replaced with the stack knob East preamp, and it sounded very similar to the 2 band pre-EB I'd previously owned. I think East also makes a stock 2 band pre as well.

Re: FT Stingray 4H White

I might try some EB flats then, makes sense to me they would sound good with their main bass? Yes, good choice - EB flats and Chromes are both good choices on a Stingray. I know I'm probably not a "normal" Stingray user given my preference for old school sound, but my preferred Stingray tone settin...

In case anyone forgot the nature of the Liberal attack on Sheryl Kernot and gets too carried away with the current "it's a private matter" now it is a Liberal. Here's a story from 2004 about Don Randall's 1998 attack. http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2002/07/03/1025667008019.html It's definitely a pu...
