Re: Favorite Strings?

I use Ernie Ball Cobalt Super Slinky Flatwounds (#2814 Pink) on my StingRay. Tried a set. Immediately bought 10 more. Did any break? I haven't had any break so far, so I'm fairly confident mine aren't from a bad batch. I use Ernie Ball Cobalt Super Slinky Flatwounds (#2814 Pink) on my StingRay. Tri...

Re: Suitable CLOTHES for hot weather/outdoor gigs

you're being paid to entertain , not to be comfortable These two are indivisible. If I'm not comfortable, I'm not playing. It's never actually happened, because, well, there's no need for it. Portable gazebos and fans are easy to buy and bring, if you happen to be playing at a venue that is backwar...

Re: What "easy" songs are busting your chops?

Hands to Yourself and Summer of 69. Everytime I re-visit, I get to the 113th variation of the Bassline and just give up...it's too much work for what's supposed to be a "simple" song.

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

I'm new to Cricket, so can ask some spectacularly dim questions of my cricketing mates. Secretly they love the opportunity to show off their vast knowledge which, as you know, for Aussies, is all-encompassing. I still haven't had an answer to this one, though: We were discussing the pink ball and th...

I really hope you get someone.
As a matter of interest, what's the set list? I like to keep my Sub-fu sharp!

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

Got tickets to the first three days in Adelaide. Really looking forward to the first day/night Ashes. I don't envy anybody trying to get accommodation now, it's totally bonkers. I booked ours a year ago and managed to find somewhere that hadn't updated their calendar yet, so were still charging stan...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

"I'll state the fact again that marriage has nothing to do with children" I think you'll need a bit more than that in the face of all the quotes I've made. It's not an opinion, it's a fact. Marriage is between adults, children are neither necessary not compulsory and occur independent of marriage. ...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

It is about the state promoting something by institutionalising it at law This is the opposite of what's happening. It's not promoting, it's removing encumbrances to make equal. And just while we're here, allowing the conversation to be taken off topic into "think of the kiddiwinks", I'll state the...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

So what is the increase in probability of a (young) person experimenting with precocious 'boundaryless' sex/gender after this kind of indoctrination throughout school years? Very good, with any luck. Ultimately, they won't be the happier for it. The socially-constructed guilt, opression, shame and ...
