Re: Has anyone had any experience with durbano magnetics.

I don't know anything about durbano magnets but I do know Mr Fabulous. Didn't know he dealt with basses. He's easy to talk to, get along, and deal with.

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

What I find the most interesting to come out of this is that we may think we have, and act like we have freedom of speech, but, as it isn't part of our constitution, we don't. The government is just being nice to us.

Re: Child Support

Yeah well, I'm certainly struggling to think of a worse year ..... I fully expect to be taken to the cleaners, anything better than that will be seen as a bonus (my lawyer seems to know what he's doing). I'm mentally preparing myself to have to start all over again at 45. You wont need to struggle ...

Yes he is. I am also offended that he wasn't jailed for being a warmonger. Even his pommie counterpart was dragged over the coals for their involvement, but he gets off with no mention. Though, the more he sticks his neck out the more likely it will be chopped off. Maybe he reckons he can do a Tony ...

Then there's the rorts. Rules for one, rules for the other. As the payer I'd have to notify the CSA of changes etc within 14 days or 28 days or whatever, but my ex didn't. My ex would salary sacrifice to make her income appear lower and I'd have to pay more. I never found out about it until I scruti...

Good stuff and congratulations OzzyGreg. Finally seeing some money in your account, after that long stretch, can be quite exhillerating. Goodbye to Ramen noodles. Just a word of warning. I wouldn't take that confirmation as gospel. Your ex could still apply to the CSA for that portion of your earnin...

:rolf: He shoulda put his hat on. He must be sun struck. But seriously, hows the sudden change of demeanor at the 20 second mark? I don't know about checking for dual citizenship, but they oughtta at least check for dual personalies. We have some real loonies running the looney bin. The othe...

Shipping from where?
Look to the upper right corner of the first post. This makes me assume Perth.

What a deal. I'd be onto this if I were able to pick it up. I don't think I need to wish a GLWTS as I don't see it lasting long. I'm surprised after 63 views it's still here.

Re: Help with Fender abbreviations please

1t reads to me as 1962 Jazz bass Road Worn Volume (not sure what the W is) Tone With/Case.

I'd think it would be Volume Volume Tone.

Re: Quilter Bass Block 800

I found that straight out of the box it had a beautiful powerful creamy bass sound. As Rocksolid said previously "it has gobs of power", and I concur. I wasn't particularly after "super glassy top end" but I found the tone controls didn't have enough variation to get the articulation I was after. I ...

Wow! That's so impressive. :notworthy:

I laughed when you said your son was fed up with carrying a heavy 1 X 12 cab and amp. Why when I was a young lad we used to .... :blah: :blah: :blah:
