Bass Strings Online closing down

The price of strings is about to go up. From TB https://www.talkbass.com/threads/bass-strings-online-is-closing.1358976/ Bought a fair few sets of strings from Jason, and was able to buy more to experiment with due to his low prices. Another good thing is coming to an end. His site is down, momentar...

i sold my yamaha BBNE2 to help fund this........no regrets
I'd be interested to know where you reckon it sits in your harem? Will it take No: 1 spot?

Also, the specs state the strings are Elixir. Do you think that's what yours might have been?

And congratulations, I have envy and gas.

Re: Cole Clark Basses - any experience?

Ooooooweee  This gives me gas. :help So what's the deal? What strings does it come with? What's the radius? 18v I assume. There doesn't seem to be much information of the specs, prices, different models etc. Lots of talk on various options but nothing really specific. Early days I guess. Woul...

Re: 1967 Maton L 101 'Lute' Bass Restoration Help

I can't really give you any help, but I used to own an old Maton "Big Ben" Bass. A few years earlier than yours. It had the horrible guitar style tuners. Eventually the nylon turned but the shaft didn't. Mine never has a truss rod, so the neck snapped. A permanent, non adjustable rod was used to rep...

I think you misread that Mark. It's $100 deposit and the balance of $1699 when stock arrives.

Re: WTB - Bass Cab 410 or similar

I know nothing about it. I saw it, while searching around, and I remembered your post. It seemed to fit your criteria. I just looked up the Carvin site and it says it weighs 30kg.

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

Terrifying is somewhat subjective, but road deaths in other countries can be significantly higher, as they are in Asia, but I'd say guns are more terrifying than cars. As we know statistics are just numbers, and accountants make them work their way, politicians have their own bent. All I was saying ...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

What about the added charge of up to $7 per parcel to, so call, pay for the extra border force personnel (whom according to their tv program "dedicate their lives to protecting Australia" ) needed to scan and scrutinize the massive increase of parcels entering the country? Sounds like another ...

The Talkbass home page has an article about a Nordstrand Nordenbocker big single neck pickup priced at US$113. Other than that, I'm out.
