Makes my stated goal of three Thunderbirds seem positively modest. Well ... three Thunderbirds, a cheap Steinie rehearsal bass and a franken P.

Five ... no more than five.
Hahaha 3 she said... 5 she said....

And I’ll just shut up

Re: Health Goals for 2018

Work sends a few people to Cambodia to check out some assistance work we support. I wanted to go this year but just didn’t feel confident that I was u...

Re: Future Builds - Kinda Not Random

Honey Jumbles were a treat when I was a kid. Glad, surprised, that they have survived.

I think the car museum is near Hahndorf if that is of interest.

Re: WTB *Gibson* Thunderbird Black (just not quite yet)

Really? I was sure it was black. My bad. At least you don't have to worry about Kat burglars... Vintage Sunburst. The finish I didn’t particularly want... but in fact looks very good ‘bass in hand’. And no worries Kat, maybe if there is a GTG you can have a crack at it. If no GTG we could work out ...

Re: WTB *Gibson* Thunderbird Black (just not quite yet)

I presume we are talking a "modern" TBird, not a vintage one? Absolutely. I can't afford a vintage Bird, worst luck. I'm not expecting pristine condition. As long as the neck is good, I'm not bothered by a few dings in the finish and what have you. Geoff's Bird would be ideal, but he might notice i...

Re: Amp for Country?

Wasn't playing Country last night. The Darglass Vintage Ultra is very useful for getting something half decent out of the ancient Peavey head and cab with a 15 and what looks like 2 x 8s (one of them with half the cone missing) at GMP. Every time I use that amp I have to wipe the smile off it's gra...

Re: Amp for Country?

I don’t know enough about amps, but I would imagine a Bassman of some sort would get you there. There are a couple in the classifieds I think.
