Shim in the pocket

my MIM Jazz appears to have a slight ramp at the end of the fretboard, I like a really low action.Sometimes notes on frets above the 15th fret don't ring out as much as they do elsewhere. It was worse before, I raised the saddles a bit and added a bit more relief and that fixed it mostly, just latel...

Re: FS: Ampeg SCR DI

someone grab this. I like mine more than the B7k, BDDI, VT, MXR M80 and whatever other preamp DI I've bought. I have literally lost count :)

Ampeg in a pedal is not a false claim imho

Re: Cricket 2017/2018

So apparently, If Scorchers get a home final, they're not allowed more than 40k in a 60k stadium, due to public transport to the venue during peak hour unlikely to cope well? WTF? Isn't that just snowflake politics? Surely people sort themselves out? I reckon it's just spin to excuse the poor crowd...

Re: Who is obsessive about their coffee??

of course, it's more complicated in Melbourne.

You need to take a beaker, for the hot water, another beaker for the hot milk, a small cup for the espresso shot,a mug to mix them in, and a board to place all the beakers on.

I DO use my own re-useable coffee mug when out....
you mean you walk around with a ceramic coffee mug on you ?

impractical to say the least

yes, at work take a mug to the coffee shop, but when I'm shopping or whatever I'm not gonna walk around with a mug in my hand.

Re: Fretting a Lined Fretless Bass?

if it's a common brand like Fender, maybe someone here would like to swap necks or bass with you, seems a shame to turn a fretless into fretted when so many of us wouldn't mind trying going the other way

Nice.

I have a fretless neck that I've been waiting to pair to a Jazz body.

But I don't have $350, I have renovations. ;)

Re: SINGLE STRING SLAP PERMUTATIONS??

you lost me at "I want to play everything I play with fingers by slapping" why would you wanna do that,? Doesn't sound nearly as good. All your notes are muted, no sustain, if that's your bag then fine, not for me

best of luck.
