Re: FIFA World Cup 2018

The diving is appalling. Why can't these multi million dollar players just play the game and not worry about the theatrics. Ruins what could be a decent sport if done right. Maybe making the goals bigger would help, or cut it back to 9 players per side? Most purists of the game are also appalled by...

I don’t understand Australians supporting other countries than their own? I didn’t think you got a choice in the matter.... ;) Maybe not everyone living in Australia is Australian ... . Regards, Michael 8| ... I never considered that ... I think it's fine to have some 2nd favourite teams, be...

Wow! So much negativity ...
Sepp Blatter is no longer FIFA President ... the Italian , Antonio Infantino, is.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2018

Just because a team is not tested yet does not mean that they are non-achievers Yes, waiting until the elimination stage is a valid approach ... I’m just saying who I think has a good shot... IF they make it through group ... I mean, right now, the best team to this point is actually RUSSIA! 6 pts ....

Re: NBD - but it's not a bass!

It was built like a tank and you couldn't break it... Not much use for snowmobiles here in Australia :D ... but...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

There are now reports Barnaby is on leave for 3 months. Add this to the leave he has already taken. The people of New England have been taken for complete fools. I guess that is what you can expect when a seat is that safe. It depends on how you look at it... Barnaby on leave could actually be a GO...

Re: Bypassing the preamp on a bass amp?

depending on amps I've used, I will sometimes do this. It comes down to 2 things: 1) Does the amp's preamp colour the sound in a way I don't like or 2) does the amp's preamp offer handy features that I can take advantage of (such as a graphic EQ). My current amp (old Carvin Redline series amp), I re...
