Re: aby splitter pedal

Tricky one - does the mixer have any unused line inputs (eg stereo channel....not a mic pre)? If yes, you could run an external pre into one input - at least you would have a fader and good control over your mix.

Re: aby splitter pedal

Dont you get the same outcome from your DI to the mixer going to the PA (sub)? Use the mixer to 'blend' together with your stage sound.

Re: Buzzing beyond the 12th fret...

Not one to let an opportunity go by... MSGM is open tonight and David can run you through this if you want. Cheaper than a tech and you get to have a go yourself. Plus if it's not straight forward then we've got the tools to make it right. This is a good option - filing nut slots or dressing a prou...

Hey mate - watch this blokes' vids. He makes it easy to understand

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=te44eWXd9pc

He runs through the whole procedure from action an the neck, bridge, intonation etc. You can use Fender's setup guide as well to give you a starting point and adjust to taste

Re: New P.A. What's hot what's not?

The wifi issue is solved by having a router attached to the mixer so it overides the hotspot feature - scan the local environment with an app like wifi analyser and choose a channel with no traffic. The other option is to go direct with an ethernet cable into a laptop but I haven't encountered a spa...

Re: New P.A. What's hot what's not?

Yep - I use a Soundcraft UI16 with my band......it is insanely easy to use - FX, compressor/limiter & EQ on every channel (inc the 6 Aux's which also have feedback suppression). Mains out have the same. Fits in a shallow 4U rack and each member can control their foldback/IEM with me running the 'mas...

That handle/connector recess is a thing of beauty.
+1 to that. I have the 210 and it is very light and easy to lift/manipulate with those handles

Re: Future Builds - Maybe Random

Yep. I hadn't used it for about 5yrs and there was perhaps a 1/3 left. I never dampened surfaces with it but always put baking paper between the job and the clamping cauls to avoid squeeze out accidentally sticking a caul to the job. This is important with these expanding glues!

Re: Future Builds - Maybe Random

The glue had used with veneers was titebond polyurethane. The bottle was all foamed up and solid!

Re: Future Builds - Maybe Random

Michael - I recall using a veneer glue in the past that was very similar to the gorilla glue but was quite runny (think epoxy, thin honey like). It was excellent stuff and it would actually bleed through the veneers under clamping pressure but scraped off easily. I'll see if I have any about to advi...

Thanks mate - I have the EHX Octave Multiplexer which doesn't quite give me the sound I want. I'll be moving that one on.

WTB - EHX Micro/Nano Pog...maybe Pitch Fork?

Hey guys,

Looking for a Pog Nano or Micro. Let me know what u got. Was also considering the Pitch Fork for some tone bending but I am not sure how well it works with bass.

Cheers, BD
