Re: FS - almost new 5-string Flatwounds ($22)

Great to hear it mate! I've never heard in the flesh what a Stingray with flats would sound like, I'll have to experiment with it someday.

SOLD - Fender Jaguar body, customised ($350 posted)

For sale is a Modern Player Jag body that I was planning to make into a sweet black-on-black workhorse, but it's slipped to the bottom of the priority list unfortunately. All stock apart from the new pickguard, the saddles/screws and the P bass pickup (a Samick, which is at least as good if not bett...

Class D head DI/Line Out into PA

This is a pretty general question which may have more than one answer... Small, powerful solid-state Class D heads are great because they're effortless to carry and they usually have some sort of Line Out/DI function, right? One of the perfect situations for that would be if I was rocking up to a ve...

Magnificent. That's my colour right there. I sure don't regret ordering my top secret incoming NGD in orange ;)

Is that a brass nut in there at the moment?

Re: Fodera

Looks like the competition is over, sigh. Another day, another free Fodera... On another note, they posted this on their Facebook feed. I had no idea they did/are now doing electric guitars. I love the pure simplicity of this one. Not a fan of the headstock or the Gibson humbucker however - blank fr...

That's great, I'm definitely going to try that tuning sometime.

Any particular preferences re: the fretless/P-basses you'd be willing to trade for?

Hoooooly moly, I remember seeing that Fortress advertised a while back! It's a travesty that it doesn't get as much love as the Streamer/Corvette/Thumb, it has to be one of my favourite unique body shapes.

SOLD - Seymour Duncan Hot P/J set ($100)

SPB-2 and STKJB-2. Both the hot version of the proverbial, but the J is the hum-cancelling stacked-coil. Seymour Duncan has some very well-recorded demos of each on their YouTube channel. Ah, time is money. Get them for $100 plus shipping, they're advertised on Facebook as well so I'm hoping they'll...
