Once you get to a certain point, you usually pay a lot more for a slight increase in quality. It's very rare that a $5000 bass is 10 times better than a $500 one. Sorry for being a nag, but what do you mean by jazz nut at 42mm spacing at the nut? 42mm nut width is a p bass nut right?
