Can I grab the bart pre please (will need to post to Griffith)?

Just PM me your address, I'll post tomorrow and let you know how much, and where to transfer to (don't have PayPal, prefer direct transfer).

Michael

FS: Hipshot Tuners and Bart Pre

Since my workshop was a little wet today I went through a couple of shelves, threw out a few things and found a few other things that I purchased with good intentions but ultimately am unlikely to use. All items were purchased through the forum and are at least second hand. Set of Hipshot tuners: 1/...

Re: Future Builds - Kinda Not Random

Thanks, guys, But too late in this instance - already glued together. Mind you, I'm pretty cool with this one: since I'm using a zero fret only one of the 10 bridge screws needs to have contact, and the wire is spread out and since it won't move I don't expect any issues. I'll consider this for the ...

Re: Future Builds - Kinda Not Random

It's not going to be blue, Ivan! Now down to some of the work that has the least visual impact but is if course the fiddliest. Installed the threaded inserts in the Special Q (for pickups only, still need to do the 4 for the back plate but that's not quite there yet). Here's what you need: https://w...

Re: Latest Builds

Was in from 10 to 11:30 - you know me. And that included plenty of time chatting as well.

Regards,
Michael

P.S.: will be in longer next Friday - fretting to be done.

Re: Latest Builds

Looks even better in real life but it really is a shorty, I’d say 30”?

Might use that neck extension for my next prototype, but centered :) .

Re: Latest Builds

I’ll have to outsource making necks to you, Blaine, you do it fast and make it look easy.

And it looks really good.

Re: Latest Builds

Full steam ahead, Blaine,

Really getting into the swing of things. Everything’s looking great.

Why not turn the walnut into a bookmatched top rather than just covers?

Phew. For a moment there, I thought you'd gone and made this one blue as well.

It’s not too late to go blue, Bruce ;) .

LOVE my Magellan, but never played an STL900 so can’t tell you how similar (or not) they are.

Just watch out for those roos in the middle of the road and the idiots with hi-beam on! ;)

Wow, looks like an amazing machine, Pete. I've driven cars with half the capacity and much skinnier tyres. Enjoy responsibly.

Much more productive day today than expected. Re: Post your rigs - PART TWO

It was a Kermit sort of night - nothing says "blues" more than a 6 string unlined fretless ;) . Couldn't imagine gigging without the Genzler rig, anything you throw at it it handles with ease. Absolutely love it. https://www.flickr.com/photos/94660385@N02/28807515928/in/dateposted-public/ Regards, M...

Re: Future Builds - Kinda Not Random

:useless: I know. No time. Removed what seemed a cubic metre of timber from the Kermit NT, at the transition from neck to body, and "refined" the round-overs. Also started routing out the electronics cavity - something happened (nothing bad, just a little aesthetic slip-up) but I'll have to take a p...

Re: OzBass Members' gigs - go on promote yourself!

Album Launch on Queen's Birthday. Proudly part of the "Shefest" we'll be playing on Monday at the Central Club in Richmond. Plenty of other bands on the program but we're on at 5:00pm for an action-packed 40 minutes, playing pretty much the whole album. And yes, I needed painkillers after that shoot...
