hacked account
Whoever it is, has found a huge range of pictures of iconic of near-so goods - maybe a pro pawnbroker, but you have to wonder what the game is,

That's a good response - i'd be surprised if Fender AU ignored you now.

Re: The Who Live at the Fillmore East 1968

The recorded sound is very clean - sounds like it came straight out the back of the sound desk - no ambience, just the dry sound from the close mics.

Re: The JMJ has landed - initial verdict

Do try the pups higher as you say? That should at least get your output on more equivalent footing to your other one - then you can more accurately tell if you new pup is genuinely down.

Re: Tweeter Swap Aguilar DB112

Heres a datasheet: http://www.paudiothailand.com/uploads/pdf/products/PHT-410.pdf But does the Aguilar have an L-pad? ie tweeter attenuator. Turning this down may help. I also saw that Epifani used an Audiotek KHS (quick look found no datasheet) - but changed it to a Paudio(!) if I'm reading right. ...

Wasn't that wonderful quote from Mr Keating?
Another as acerbic and pointy was Jim Killen from the 60s/70s

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

if you've seen or experienced how these policies impact on people who are least able to defend themselves Yes, this kind of stuff is inexcusable. So if the libs got that bit right, we would all be a lot better off? (joke) No, I guess it is just the beginning of the morass that is politics. But I do...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

F 35B/ Canberra Class LHD issue ] Thanks for the interesting article. What an opportunity for defence to get cheap high-capability seaborne aviation! It is a no-brainer that any military force requires as many combined arms as possible for effectiveness and surviveability- eg seaborne air, missile ...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

fed for over 20 years No - I'm not aware of one instance of matching wage drop/tax-cut combination done in the last 20 years - or any number of years for that matter. Nor have I seen any reform of the housing land-management paradigm. These are just 2 items - surely we can't be that at a loss for i...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

This will simply be misused Yes - if it is the only thing done. Single action items are always bandaids. It must be in conjunction with other balancing actions, so hence dropping a wage and reducing its tax can be set to mean no difference to take-home pay. But you have given the employer a benefit...

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

Newstart is a bit much of a band-aid approach, I find - provides funding to start a job - helps many, but fails many as well. Perhaps it maybe better to reduce the tax at lower income rates, coupled with a drop in the minimum wage (gasp) - and also create a new category of (low) 'start' wage. The id...

Re: Band too loud

Is there any success with getting guitarists to agree to place their speakers at waist or even chest height, and force them to stand in front? This uses the physics of sound being 4 times as loud if you halve the distance to the source.

Re: Political Coverage By the Media in Our Country - PART TWO

I had a read of similar here: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-03-26/tax-concessions-put-welfare-costs-in-perspective-anglicare/9585930 One of the things it says to me is that we, as a society, do not have the means to create worthwhile employment for all. Thats just not fair on those who cant get wo...

Bipartisanship
Yes - it is a fairy tale at present. I guess if we create/allow an adversarial political system, it just negates itself; ie it can push the players to do more unethical/marginal things in an effort to outdo the others. Greed, ultimately, is not good.

Re: changing preamp?

If you are looking for 'je ne sais quols' ( I don't know what) you could try putting a strip of steel or iron under the pickup. It will.give you more colour out of the pickup. Must be magnetic. It is a quick and dirty way of increasing some middle and subtly changing the dynamic. If you don't like i...
