Re: Whats the deal with Eden Bass amps?

^^^^^
This was my experience with a 550, musical, warm. But i struggled for volume into an 8 ohms yorkville cab at the time which probably wasn't very efficient but other heads I owned in the same spec range were much louder. The EQ is killer, and the amp is compact but heavy IMO

Re: SWR Goliath III users...

I have a genz benz neox212t which fits your requirements well I'd reckon, but they are hard to find I just saw this! Is your GB 212 for sale? Hey Jase, right now it's not sorry. I've fallen in love with it all over again and along with my 700RBII right now I'm as hapoy as ive been for a LONG time.

Peavey Minimega any1 tried 1?

Hey folks, been keen on one of these for a while and have been looking at getting 1 from the states 2nd hand. I don't need a new amp as have found my happy place with a GK 700rbII but you know, I do like new stuff. So, has anyone tried either this or even the MiniMax? thoughts? cheers

Re: Low tension strings

Yeah cheers, so when i had the trouble with the pole pieces and audible clipping that was with a low action Darkstar Warmoth P-the Ray buzzes too much when it's low which leads me to the next point that I want to get this bass to Sydney(maybe next tour) to get it plek'd. The 73 P I played had TI fla...

Re: Low tension strings

Cheers man, so the first time i experience no pain was playing a 73'P bass with flats and i recall thinking god damn this thing plays itself. And the next time it was a Mark Hoppus P and the string tension was so light my thumb didn't hurt as i wasnt pushing hard. Incidentally, I've been wanting a s...

Re: Low tension strings

Hey guys thanks for all the replies. First of all, I do bugger all palm muting so don't think that is a problem here. When I've played other basses at gigs they are at a similar height to mine so not saying it couldn't be but I am doubting whether its strap height. The high action is something that ...

Low tension strings

Hey guys, I have bad tendinitis in my picking hand/thumb which is quite painful. I pick fast and hard and play punk rock, I've tried many times to change how hard I play but have failed. I play a stingray with fairly high action and enjoy stainless steel strings for brightness, and usually use DR lo...
